Q1- Is this fabric suitable for beginners?

Yes. Our 70% cotton and 30% linen blend is easier to cut, sew, and handle than pure linen fabric. The balanced weave offers excellent stability with less fraying, making it a great choice for beginners, hobbyists, and experienced sewists alike.

Q2 - Is this fabric breathable?

Absolutely. The natural linen and cotton fibers allow air to circulate freely while helping absorb moisture. This makes the fabric comfortable for clothing, bedding, and home textiles, especially during warmer months.

Q3 - Does the fabric shrink after washing?

Like most natural fiber fabrics, a small amount of shrinkage may occur during the first wash, typically up to 5%.

For best results:

• Pre-wash before cutting your project
• Wash on a gentle cycle
• Air dry whenever possible

Q4 - Is the fabric OEKO-TEX certified?

Yes. This linen-cotton blend fabric is certified according to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances and is safe for everyday use.

Q5 - Will I receive one continuous piece if I order multiple quantities?

No. Each unit is pre-cut into a separate piece measuring 55 inches wide by 2 yards long.

For example:

Order 1 = 1 piece (2 yards)
Order 2 = 2 separate pieces (2 yards each)
Order 3 = 3 separate pieces (2 yards each)

Multiple quantities are not supplied as one continuous length.

Q6 - Does the fabric wrinkle easily?

Because it contains natural linen fibers, some wrinkling is normal and part of its relaxed, organic character. However, the cotton content helps reduce excessive wrinkling compared to 100% linen fabric.
